This 2,100 sq.ft. apartment combination brought together a two-bedroom and one-bedroom apartment in a seamless co-existence between a private 4-bedroom wing and an open family gathering space. The redesign allowed for a growing family to have maximum sized and convenient storage spaces throughout, a new laundry room, a giant kid’s bathroom and play area together with a welcoming formal foyer, an open kitchen and a living/dining experience that remain aesthetically cohesive.

This 3,500 sq.ft. apartment combination overlooking Central Park allows for the perfect collaboration between comfortable family living and spacious catered fundraising events. Several interconnecting rooms transform into a high-rise loft-like design for entertaining and dining experiences. A sense of history is on display with Eastern European artifacts arranged in jewel-like cases giving off a gallery effect upon entering the apartment. Adding Moroccan mosaic patterns to clean lines and linear details throughout give textural accents around every corner.

This 1,320 sq.ft. apartment renovation with uninterrupted floor-to-ceiling glass curtain walls along the street façade, creates a more expansive experience when opening up the second bedroom onto the living and dining area. By redesigning the second bedroom into a lounge/office extension of the living area and bringing more light into the apartment as a whole, the solution offers more flexibility for dining and entertaining options, while at the same time providing a whimsical geometry between fine art, furniture and undefined enclosures.

This 300 sq.ft. rooftop addition with 560 sq.ft. outdoor decking gives additional entertaining space to the duplex brownstone apartment below. The intended tropical design is achieved with a combination of materials, imagery and detailing. Wood louvers evoke a cabana feel that also provides passive solar shade from an uninterrupted southern exposure. Vent stacks are extended above the new roofline and clad in ceramic bamboo tiles. Large banana leaf images are printed onto glass doors and panels, then backlit for a nighttime Caribbean experience.
This 3,800 square foot apartment located in River House overlooking the East River is an elegant traditional design with modern features, which subtly puts media and technology at the forefront. State of the art audio visual equipment is intricately woven into a time-honored style to allow for formal social gatherings without compromising social media. Private master bedroom and guest bedroom suites are separate—yet accessible—to the family room/kitchen ensemble for an informal dining and entertaining experience.
This 2,320 sq.ft. loft space is an exercise in restoration and modernization in this 19th c. factory building. The 12 foot high tin ceilings were meticulously restored to seamlessly conceal a new air conditioning system. Repurposed floor-to-ceiling wood and frosted glass French doors were assembled into large sliding pocket doors for flexible use of the office and guest room during large or small social gatherings. The 44’ long continuous window seat and display along the arched wood windows allows for relaxing sunlit views of the Tribeca brick landscape.

This 1,100 square foot apartment renovation refreshed the charm of this Pre-War building, two bedroom unit. A kitchen reconfiguration and expansion opened a visual connection with the adjacent living room. Bathroom and bedroom renovations provided a clean, modern aesthetic and improved closet and storage space. Mechanical and electrical system upgrades will provide for a more comfortable living environment.
This 1,500 square foot apartment renovation offers an intricate collaboration between design team (architect and cabinet maker) and clients (art collector and glass fabricator), which included an 11’ long beachfront photograph printed onto glass panels and mounted to the master bathroom wall. Custom designed furniture included a mahogany and glass dining table, buffet table/dining table extension, a 14’ long mahogany and glass media and art display cabinet, a triangular mahogany and glass coffee table, a cherry lacquered master bedroom dresser and matching inlaid wood designed night tables.

Modernizing an apartment that is both live and work space requires extra attention to detail. This 1,150 square foot two bedroom apartment renovation involved maximizing the functionality of a small, eat-in kitchen to facilitate both storage and entertaining.

This 3,200 sq.ft. gut renovation included the restoration of the front façade and redesign of the rear façade with a metal and glass industrial look. The double hung wood windows were restored to retain the original glass panes. Intricate crown molding details were recreated in plaster and reclaimed, replained and restained 8” wide oak plank flooring was installed throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms were tiled in reclaimed white crackled porcelain tiles and a cold rolled steel and wood bookcase was installed in the library overlooking the re-landscaped rear garden.
